Antique and Vintage micro/fine beaded reticules/handbags/purses have always been a fascination of mine since childhood. Little did I know that in my latter years I would become a collector of sorts. I have a huge confession to make, in the early 1990's, I was offered an opportunity to purchase a large number of antique beaded purses. The woman that owned them had been collecting them for a number of years because she used the itty bitty beads to do collages on faux Faberge' eggs. I had contemplated the purchase , ultimately turning it down. I have not, as of this date, run across anything quite as amazing in quality of what I had passed up years ago, argh, I've been kicking myself in the arse ever since. I will attempt to provide you with the most accurate information as possible, with references to additional information. I am NOT an expert, so if you have information that I'm not privy to, please feel free to correct me, I welcome the educational information. I'm also always in the market, so if you have a purse to sell, drop me a line with a picture, description, and desired compensation. As well, please NOTE that my prices are usually whatever the current fair market value is or what the current market is selling at. I am very open to and ALWAYS willing to entertain and consider RESPECTABLE best offers! NOTE: As you can probably ascertain by all the "SOLD" indicators, we, much like everyone else during this economic downturn, have found it necessary to sell our collectibles, RATHER than be a buyer and add to our collection. So, please understand, that I'm currently NOT in the market to purchase any of the absolutely wonderful offerings I've been sent in the past, nor will I be able to make any purchases in the near future. But go ahead and bookmark me so that you can return when the economy gets back on it's feet!! When I'm feeling flush (nothing to do with menopause), I'll be back in the market.
