Antique and Vintage micro/fine beaded reticules/handbags/purses have always been a fascination of mine since childhood. Little did I know that in my latter years I would become a collector of sorts. I have a huge confession to make, in the early 1990's, I was offered an opportunity to purchase a large number of antique beaded purses. The woman that owned them had been collecting them for a number of years because she used the itty bitty beads to do collages on faux Faberge' eggs. I had contemplated the purchase , ultimately turning it down. I have not, as of this date, run across anything quite as amazing in quality of what I had passed up years ago, argh, I've been kicking myself in the arse ever since. I will attempt to provide you with the most accurate information as possible, with references to additional information. I am NOT an expert, so if you have information that I'm not privy to, please feel free to correct me, I welcome the educational information.
