The center cameo in this piece began life as a 2 piece molded plastic button. I gave it a new life by surrounding it with size 15/o glass Japanese Hex beads, size 13/0 glass charlotte cut beads, and 34 genuine 2mm garnet beads.  Backed with genuine pigskin leather with a 14K gold clutch.
