I wanted to do something new and different to wear proudly in patriotic colors.  Have always wanted to try Paula Adams ribbon beading....so one of her patterns inspired this brooch.

The center stone is a genuine semi-precious 35 X 25mm Snow Quartz cabochon embellished with red, white, and blue size 14/0 round Japanese glass beads.  The ribbon portions are done with size 15/0 glass Japanese Hex beads.  Accents include 3mm round faux pearls, and dyed semi-precious Aventurine Heart and Star shaped gemstones, with a couple of 4mm opaque white pony beads thrown in as well.  Backed with genuine pigskin suede leather this piece measures 2 1/8 inches long and just a hair short of 2 inches wide.  The pictures just really don't do this piece justice.  This is a One-Of-A- Kind Creation.
