I made this jumping Salmon pin for a girlfriend back home as a small thank you for having done me a favor.  We haven't seen each other since I moved to Georgia in 1999 and had only just recently got back in touch with each other.  My elderly mother needed checking on and I live 3000 miles away.  When I called my friend and asked if she's check on her, she didn't hesitate....now that's a great and true friend.  I told her to pick something from my website or I could create something for her as a token of my appreciation.  She said something with a fish would be great...LOL, figures since her last name is Fish.  Well being from the Pacific Northwest, what better fish to create than this salmon?!?

Weaved in a combination of flat vertical peyote and brick stitch with size 15/0 glass Japanese Hex beads and mounted on a tie tack jewelry finding. it's perfect for any lapel, fishing hat or even on a tie!
