This was a well loved and well used purse.  It is a crocheted drawstring purse with rows of beaded looped fringe and a beaded looped tassel with crystal glass beads.  This purse unfortunately has suffered some storage damage as the thread, lining, and drawstring have rust stains. There are some missing loops and a some bead loss.  It needs special handling as there are loose threads with some beads are falling off during excessive handling.

This bag is dated from the late 1800's to the early 1900's.    It measures 4 1/2  x 9 inches and if it were in good condition would be valued between $175 and $250.  I'm almost sure that perhaps with a good soaking in a mild solution of tepid water and Woolite this bag might look good as new!!  If not, it still displays extremely well considering.
