This is a vintage Whiting and Davis gold mesh expandable gate-top coin purse.  It is lined with a kinda vinyl? type white fabric.  It sticks together from age so I have it stuffed with tissue.  The gate top features a molded floral motif.  The hinge is slightly bent, so it doesn't clasp tightly, but other than that, it does open and close properly.  The mesh is in excellent condition with no tarnish, missing mesh, or holes.  It has a loop to attach a chain, but there isn't one with it.
