This is a good sized vintage (around mid 1960's) enameled alumesh purse with a stowable shoulder chain, so it can be used as a clutch as well. The flap is done in stripes of light blue, creamy yellow, gold, silver, and red.  It appears to be in mint condition and never used.  It is NOT a Whiting and Davis and the inside cloth tag says 'made in China'.  It has a divider inside so there are 2 compartments, a zip up pocket on the back inside, and a snap closure.  It measures approximately 9 1/2 inches wide and 6 1/2 inches tall.  The metal shoulder rope type chain measures a total of 40 inches from end to end, giving the purse a total length of 24 inches when hanging.  This is a really sharp looking clutch, perfect for any occasion!
