Oh, these pictures just plain do not show off the wonderfully gorgeous sparkle and shimmer to this purse. French cut steel beads in gold, silver, blue, and yummy honey gold yellow in an art deco geometric pattern. (the bottom of the purse in the picture seems to have a bronzy hue, it does not in reality). This purse is in remarkable shape for it's age. It has normal wear to the beads expected for it's age, but what is astounding is that for having been well loved and well used, there isn't a single missing bead on the body and there isn't any pulling away of the threads from the weight of the beads!

The envelope flap is fastened by 2 pearl buttons, one of them came off when I was photographing the bag, I've placed it inside the purse. It has a metal strip concealed under the lining at the top of the purse, this is to help it maintain it's shape (no sagging in the middle). The lining is a tan colored fabric, it does have some minor what appears to be water marks/stains. It is intact with no rips, tears, holes, or shredding.

I do believe that this purse had a beaded strap at one time, as was customary for these type of purses, but it appears to have been carefully and professionally removed. The fringe is dang near mint in that it's only missing 1 strand, the rest are intact and secure. Purse measures about 4 7/8 inches wide and 3 7/8 inches tall, fringe adds another 1 1/4 inch to the length.

Purse being sold "AS IS" but is a ~must have~ beauty and a wonderful addition to any purse collection!!
