For the love of a child, was why this small French Cut Steel purse was made, and the love of a child is probably why it's all a fray. In silver, brass and green, it once pictured an Elephant. It's crazy heavy for such a tiny thing, which is probably why it's broken so many a string, not sure it it can be restored. It's got a fascinating closure, it works like a tie tack, it has a button encased in copper with a tack, and a copper back that you squeeze 2 little prongs to open to slip over the tack and you let go of the prongs to close. (2 1/2" x 2") I don't believe that this purse is restorable, but it's worth it's weight for the beads alone, plus the neat little button tie tack doohicky!! SOLD
