This is a beaded clutch with stowable chain.  The round beads look like tiny pearls and the floral motif is done with gunmetal glass tube beads.  The lining is very clean and it has a small mirror in the pocket that has a shoe store advertisement on the back of it, don't believe it to be original to the purse. There don't appear to be any missing beads and there is one very tiny (1/8 x 1/4) stain on the front.  It really is in excellent condition.  It does not have any identifying tags but believe it to be Japanese made.  It measures just a hair over 8 1/2 inches at the widest and a hair over 4 inches from the top of the frame to the bottom.  It has a 12 inch chain for an over all hanging length of close to 10 inches.  The 3rd edition "Handbags" by Schiffer 1999 values this particular purse alone at that time between $25-$50.
