This is a really large knitted antique Edwardian hematite colored glass beaded drawstring purse with a looped fringe tassel.  It came from an estate in Little Falls, New York and is in excellent condition.  There doesn't appear to be ANY missing beads! This bag is not lined and there isn't any indication that it ever was.  There are 12 ivory colored bakelite or perhaps celluloid rings that hold the drawstring. The drawstring may not be the original. This beaded bag measures 14 inches around at the top, it is 9 1/2 inches long plus the 3 inch long looped tassel.
