This is a knitted draped style purse or bag from, I believe, the mid 1900's.  It's knitted with a dark brown thread with faceted jet black cut beads.  This has been a well loved and well used purse but is still in very good shape for a purse this age.  It does have a couple of loose or slightly pulled threads, a couple of broken ones, probably from being overstretch and there is one very tiny unravel in a row of knitting creating a small separation hole on the back, but near as I can tell, there's been no bead loss.

It is lined, but unfortunately, the black fabric has begun to disintegrate so this purse needs to be relined.  It has a zipper closure that works just fine and the brass pull ring is marked with the word "Talon" twice on each side.

Laying flat the purse measures 9 1/2 inches at the bottom, 5 inches wide at the top, and about 4 1/2 tall.
