"A picture is worth a thousand words"....NOT in this case, the pictures will never EVER do this purse justice!!! This is one of the most truly stunning pieces I've run across in all my years of purse-slash-bead collecting. Some of you faithful followers know that I've been spending the last 6 months or so downsizing all of my collectibles and now own several of my cherished prizes, well now here's your chance to snag another one!! This is a larger sized, heavy, 'loom beaded' drawstring reticule in absolutely sun-catching/eye-blinding faceted cut copper/bronze or vice-versa and purple/violet beads. It is in about as close to mint condition (in my opinion) as you can get...if there is any bead loss, danged if I could find it...Not even in the double beaded looped drawstring!!!! The lining is an intact, immaculate, brown satine type material. The fringe is intact and complete, though one or two might be pulled a tiny bit. The pattern is the same on both the front and back and if I were to find any fault at all with this bag, it would be that the copper beads on the upper 3/4 of the back of the purse would appear to perhaps been exposed to more sunlight, perhaps in a display window or some such, and are slightly lighter than the rest of the bag, but on the whole, it's barely noticeable. I wouldn't have even mentioned it, but didn't want to be accused of 'misinformation'....grin....... Laying flat, bag measure close to 5 1/4 inches wide and a hair over 8 1/4 inches long including fringe. This is a "much better in reality" work of art!! It needs to be SEEN to be appreciated, no splits, no warping in the heaviness of the loomed weave, I swear this purse has probably seen very little use if any at all, it's dang near pristine!! Okay...enough of my yakking... SOLD Item # AP80 |
