Oh this scan just plain doesn’t do this piece justice at all!!!! Dolphins and sea turtle porcelain cabochon is yet another one I got from Red Ventling. I wanted it to scream out the feel of the ocean. I’ve used size 14/0 round glass Japanese beads for the bezel and fringe. I’ve embellished the whole piece with real seashells, genuine fresh water pearls and a variety of glass drop beads. Stick fringe has always reminded me of coral reefs and I used it here to represent coral and underwater plant life. Backed with genuine suede leather. I just love this piece. Centerpiece measures (with fringe) 2 3/8 x 6 ½ inches and hangs from a 26-inch gold plated Italian rope chain. Accumulative bead working time was 16 hours.
