This was also a request from a customer I mentioned before, that has a penchant for expensive designer bags, to create 'purse' jewelry. Because of the design of the bag, a unique creation encompassing a 'Bolo/Bola for the 'fastening' of the 'bag jewelry' was the best solution for the display. However, I thought it would have made a beautiful necklace which is why I have included in this gallery.

This 2 inch round genuine porcelain cabochon is made by my friend Red Ventling and it features a wolf howling at a  full moon.  I used an appliqué technique to create the bezel with Japanese size 14/0 glass round beads.  The fringe accents include 14K gold feather charms and gold frosted 6mm round glass beads.

Mounted  on and backed with genuine pigskin leather, this piece measures approximately 2 1/2 inches by 5 inches.
