I purchased this large handmade cabochon at a Gem & Mineral show in Seattle, WA. It contains genuine pounded gold flakes. I’ve nestled it in a beaded bezel using black size 13/o glass charlotte cut beads and 22 K gold size 11/o Delica beads, then backed it with genuine suede leather. The fringe is netted and accents include 14 K liquid gold bugle beads and 4mm genuine Swarovski Austrian crystals. With fringe, the pendant measures 2 ½ x 4 ½ inches and hangs on a 26 inch beaded chain. Accumulative beadworking time was about 8 hours.
