First, let me apologize for the quality of this scan...it's actually a 'scan' of a "scan".
I call this piece "Big Mouth".  Though it was not my intent to make a face of any sorts, when it was finished, it looked like a big mouthed frog....The 'mouth' as I see it, features a 30 x 15mm genuine Lapis Lazuli semi-precious gemstone cabochon.  I've surrounded it with size 13/0 sterling plated charlotte cut beads and  ditto in glass beads.  The  accents include  4mm genuine mother-of-pearl round beads, 3mm round genuine Lapis Lazuli beads, a whole bunch of  3mm genuine Czech glass barrel crystals, and a genuine sterling silver drop bead.  Backed with genuine pigskin suede leather.  Beadworked piece measures 1 1/2 x 2 3/8 inches and currently hangs from a sterling silver bail and 18 inch sterling silver curb chain.
