A loving Father wanted to give his daughter the Sun, Moon, and Stars on her 16th birthday, and she also made mention of wanting a medicine bag.  The father asked me to create something incorporating his desire and her wish, with a modern flair, and this Sunshine Original design was how we fit that bill. 

We used size 14/0 round glass Japanese beads in a flat vertical peyote stitch.  We then fastened it to a hand sewn genuine pigskin medicine bag and accented it with genuine Mother-of-Pearl stars, 4mm genuine Mother-of-Pearl beads and yellow oat beads.  The chain was used for a touch of class and an individualized gift card was inserted inside the bag, fulfilling the Native American cultural beliefs.
