I had a couple of requests to do some barrettes in blues.  This one features square navy dyed natural shells that I have turned to look like diamond shapes.  I've appliquéd around them with size 14/0 round glass beads.  The fringe embellishment is a netting technique accented with 4mm glass fringe drop beads.  The pictures don't quite do it justice, it has a nice subtle sparkle shine to it.  I've backed it with genuine pigskin leather suede and it has a spring clip barrette finding.  Barrette measures 2 5/8 inches wide and about 1 3/4 inches tall including the fringe.

This piece took me about 3 1/2 hours accumulative time to create and is a One-Of-A-Kind, though I could probably create another very similar to it.
