One of the things I love about my work is that it can and does have a 'domino' effect. A customer had purchased one of my barrettes (ROYALPUFFEDBA509) as a gift to a friend.  That friend so adored the barrette she had received as a gift, she wanted one very similar to give to a friend of hers!!  The only difference was the colors and it needed to be under $75.00....Thus the above creation came into being.

This beaded barrette features a semi-precious green Aventurine gemstone cabochon.  I've used an appliqué method to embellish it with size 14/0 round  glass Japanese beads in green and white as well as 22K gold charlotte cut beads.   Accent beads are semi-precious Aventurine 6mm round beads and genuine 6mm Mother-Of-Pearl round beads.  Backed with genuine pigskin suede leather and a spring clip barrette finding.  Barrette measures just a hair over 3  inches wide and very close to 2 inches tall.
