This is a custom ordered barrette from a customer that liked one of the other barrettes I had created (silver and black).  She wanted a barrette in various shade of browns and tans that didn't measure more than 3 inches wide, this is what I created for her.

The 3 large focus beads are 8mm art glass beads, and the smaller accents are genuine 3mm Semi-Precious Tiger Eye Gemstone beads.  The surrounding appliquéd beads are size 14/0 Japanese Round Glass Beads.  Backed with genuine pigskin suede leather, this barrette measures 2 1/2 inches wide and just a hair over 1 inch tall.
