This is an original design concept inspired by my friend Erica.  She had seen another pair of earrings I had done with the Dentalium shells (A genus of marine mollusks belonging to the Scaphopoda, having a tubular conical shell....or... A small, slender horn-like Pacific Ocean shell used and traded as beads and wealth-items....also know as 'wampum'.. click on this word "Wampum' to get more information and history on this shell).
Moving on, Erica had envisioned a more subtle sand washed natural beach effect and this is what I created.

These earrings are weaved in flat vertical peyote with size 15/0 Japanese Hex beads.  The fringe accents are genuine Dentalium Shells and 1.5mm genuine Mother-Of-Pearl terminus beads.   Hung from 24Kgold plated ear wires.  Finished earring measures  3/4 of an inch wide by 3 1/2 inches long.
