This stone is actually a piece of "petrified wood" that was amongst a bunch of stuff in a box in a blind auction at a rock and mineral show in Everett, Washington.  Though I normally only work with size 13/0 or smaller beads, this particular piece was appliquéd with size 12/0 true cut glass beads.  The edging however IS done with size 14/0 round glass Japanese beads. 

Mounted on and backed with genuine pigskin leather with a genuine leather bolo string. It measures 3 1/2 x 2 1/4 inches.  This is a One-Of-A-Kind creation.
