Inspired by a needlepoint picture, I’ve created this wintery scene of a lighthouse village and I call it "Winter Beacon".  Weaved in flat vertical peyote with size 15/0 glass Japanese Hex beads. Picture is mounted in a wood frame in a wrought iron base. Total measurement of piece is 5 ½ x 7 ¼ inches.

Makes a great gift for lighthouse enthusiasts, for that boring office desk, or small space that needs a little something.

I gave this artwork to my soulmate/sister/girlfriend upon our first meeting after having been internet pals for a year or so,!!  It now has a wonderful home on Sherry's Desk, a little reminder of  my a great trip to finally meet her!!  Sherry, love you to pieces!!
