Otter, a beaded depiction of a tribal totem sketch of an Otter sketch.

An Original Design, this River Otter is based upon a totem ink sketch (shown above) of the Tulalip Tribes of Washington State.  The 'OTTER' signifies loyal friendship, brightness, inquisitiveness, and trustworthiness. Its physical shape also corresponds to the Native American image of femininity and therefore represents female energy. It is slender and full of graceful coquetry. It teaches that being a woman is not equivalent with jealousy or envy, but means spreading joy and openness. It is the power of sharing kindness. People with the energy of the otter practice free love without control and power games. They float with the stream of life without tying themselves to material goods.

Weaved in flat vertical peyote with size 18/0 antique hand blown glass beads, (see more detailed information under History of Antique Micro Beads).   Mounted in a freestanding frame it measures 2 x 3 inches.

An extremely unique and highly collectible One-Of-A-Kind Artwork.
