This original design of a Raven is based on a totem ink sketch (shown above) of the Tulalip Tribes of Washington State. It symbolizes creation and knowledge, it is the bringer of the light. The raven is regarded as the bearer of magic. It is the messenger from the great void beyond time and space, where everything originated and to where everything will return. When a ceremony is held, the raven is always present to transport the energy of the message to its destiny. The raven's help makes it possible to heal people from a distance. Those who have used black magic have good reason to fear the raven, because it throws back negative energies to where they originated. The raven can help you to change your outlook and give you the courage to enter into the great secret.

Weaved in flat vertical peyote with rare and hard to find/collect size 18/0 antique (circa 1800's) hand blown glass beads, [see more detailed information under “History of Antique Micro Beads”].

Mounted in a freestanding frame it measures 3 ½ x 4 1/2 inches.

My son Marshall's Spirit Totem is a Raven.  We had a semi family reunion in June 08 and I have given this picture to him for him to keep as a part of my legacy.
