I absolutely love Barbara Elbe’s wildlife designs. She has numerous designs in several of the books she’s published for Amulet purses. But, sniffle, I don’t wear amulets nor do I make them, and it seemed such a waste of beautiful depictions. So, with a little adaptation here or there I framed them!!

This darling little bird is sitting in a cherry tree. Weaved in flat vertical peyote with size 13/0 Charlotte Cut glass beads and  mounted in a 4 ¾ x 4 ½ inch freestanding frame.

This would be an ideal gift for that bird lover, ornithologist, in the cabin, on the fireplace mantle, or the office desk.
