One of the most challenging
patterns I’ve done, this Pacific Northwest totem is based on a pen and ink
artwork done by Michael Gobin of the Tulalip Tribes in Washington State.
It took me almost 2 months to perfect the beadwork pattern to properly
represent this image of a Squirrel. Weaved in flat vertical peyote with size 14/0 round Japanese glass beads and mounted in a 3-legged freestanding frame. Total measurement is 4 ¼ x 8 inches. This picture can be reproduced, but keep in mind that the image, to be true, has to remain in black and white, but you can change the background colors. Also, the framing may be different depending on availability. Contact Sunshine for your custom order ideas.
